Start The Return Process

We’re here to help make the return process simple and smooth. Because every SANTARA™ item is crafted with intention and care, our return steps ensure that your request is processed accurately and respectfully.

Please follow the steps below to begin your return.

1. Confirm Eligibility

Before starting, please make sure your item meets the return guidelines outlined in our full Return Policy:

  • Item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging
  • Return must be initiated within 14 days of delivery
  • Seasonal purchases (Nov 1–Dec 22) may be returned within 30 days
  • Consumable items (coffee, tea, honey) may only be returned if damaged
  • Opened products, lit candles, used goods, perishable items, and digital products are not returnable
  • Sale items are final sale

2. Gather Your Information

To process your return, you will need:

  • Your order number (found in your email confirmation)
  • The email address used at checkout
  • A brief description of why you’re returning the item
  • Photos (if the item is damaged or defective)

3. Request Your RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)

To begin your return, please email our Customer Care team at:

Include:

  • Your full name
  • Your order number
  • The item you wish to return
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (for damaged items)

Once reviewed, our Customer Care team will issue your RMA number along with shipping instructions.

Note: All returns must have an RMA number clearly marked on the package. Returns sent without an RMA may be delayed or rejected.

Because every return request is reviewed by a real person from our Sanctuary team, emailing us ensures your photos come through clearly and your return is handled with intention and care.

4. Ship Your Item Back to Us

Once you receive your RMA:

  • Repack your item securely in its original packaging
  • Write your RMA number clearly on the box
  • Use a trackable shipping service for returns over $75
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs (unless the item was damaged in transit)

We will notify you by email once your return is received and inspected.

5. Refunds & Processing Times

Once your return is approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Processing typically takes 3–5 business days after inspection
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Restocking fees may apply to certain items (see Return Policy)

If you paid with a gift card, a replacement gift card will be issued.

✨ Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrived damaged, please contact us within 3–5 business days with photos of the issue.

We will arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.

Damaged shipments must be reported within 48 hours for consumable goods such as coffee, tea, and honey.
